Leadership Remarks From President Tommy Korley
June 13, 2003
Be aware of your moods and don't let the great ones fool
you. When you're in a sour mood, life
looks like crap. You have perspective,
common sense, and wisdom. On the
contrary, when you're in a great mood, you make life for others unbearably
serious and difficult. Here's the catch: Most people don't realize that their moods
are always on the run. When we feel
great, we tend to feel our whole life is God's gift to innocent bystanders.
The truth is life is almost never as good as it seems when
you're in a great mood. The trick is to
be grateful for our crappy moods and to recognize and be graceful by not taking
them too seriously. Don't be a nuisance.
